Rodgers Sharpening Services is a mobile sharpening service based out of Little Rock, AR. Be it professional or personal sharpening needs we’ve got you covered. We will come to you and sharpen onsite outside of your business or residence. Our knife sharpening process involves using a belt sander and two different grades of high grit sanding belts. We sharpen each side of the blade all the way to the tip with a 400-grit belt, followed by a 1200-grit belt. It is then finished off with a high-end polish and finish using a special spray and a leather belt to give it a razor edge. We also sharpen hair shears, grooming shears, scissors, tools, etc. We service central Arkansas restaurants, hair salons, barber shops, upholstery shops, pet groomers, and more in the Little Rock, North Little Rock, Maumelle, Benton, Bryant, Hot Springs, Mayflower, and Conway area.

I can’t say enough good things about Rodgers Sharpening Services. I just had two of my oldest, most trusted pairs of shears sharpened—a 22-year-old pair of Joewell Yellows (Sundance) and an 18-year-old pair of Joewell Blues (Cobalt). Rodgers runs a mobile sharpening service and was able to set up right outside, which was incredibly convenient.
Both pairs now cut like they’re brand new. Smooth, precise, and effortless—exactly how high-quality shears should feel. It takes real skill to bring tools this old back to life, and Rodgers absolutely delivered. Highly recommend to anyone who takes their tools seriously.

I work at Petsmart grooming salon in Benton. We’ve tried several other sharpeners in the area over the years but Rodgers Sharpening Services stands out. The prices are wonderful and the quality of the service is the best we’ve ever seen. All of our shears are sharp and cut perfectly (we got around 12 sharpened, I can’t remember the exact number). He told us that he sharpens clipper blades as well and we are planning on testing that out too. 10/10 we are happy

Used Henry for sharpening detachable medal clipper blades for our Andis Supra clippers. He worked on site, fully equipped out of the back of his truck. There is not anyone else in the state of Arkansas that works on detachable medal blades. They either have to be sent off or just buy new ones. His sharpening rates are reasonable, he did great work, and I will use him again.
